Aegon Polska is the first insurer on the Polish market to adapt its offer to the new requirements of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) concerning life insurance with insurance capital fund.

According to the so-called Product Intervention announced by the Financial Supervision Authority, as of 1 January 2022, all policies with an Insurance Capital Fund should meet new criteria in terms of minimum return for customers and appropriate policies for investment. Accordingly, on 18 November, Aegon launched new insurance and investment products that meet these requirements.

„A major undertaking is behind us, as work on adapting our product offering has been ongoing for many months. The big challenge was to adapt the products in such a way that they provide customers with the minimum return specified in the decision of the Financial Supervision Authority while maintaining a broad and attractive investment offer.” – informs the insurer in its announcement.

Aegon Polska has offered its clients two new products with regular deposits: Aegon Kapitalna Przyszłość+ and Aegon Plan na Plus.

The aim of Aegon Kapitalna Przyszłość+ policy is regular saving and a guarantee of a predetermined capital at the end of the insurance period, which may amount up to 121% of paid premiums. Moreover, the product allows investing in the Insurance Capital Fund, also in the form of Individual Retirement Accounts and Individual Retirement Security Accounts. The policy has been extended by a new solution, which provides the clients with a set of funds managed by international specialists from Aegon Group, which automatically adjust their profile to the saving period chosen by the client.

Aegon Plan na Plus is a product for customers who want to save regularly and provide themselves with solid insurance protection. Through this policy, clients have the opportunity to choose from nearly 50 different investment funds on terms that were previously only offered to large institutional clients, such as banks or other mutual fund companies. On the other hand, customers who do not want to create their portfolios on their own have the opportunity to use the managed portfolios with two profiles – balanced and dynamic. Aegon Plan na Plus also enables customers to take advantage of tax benefits and save in the form of Individual Retirement Accounts or Individual Retirement Security Accounts.

The new solutions can be used by both natural persons, including those running business activity, and corporate clients of Aegon Polska.
