Insurance group PZU’s asset management arm TFI PZU hired fund manager and analyst Piotr Zielonka to run its equity portfolio, TFI PZU CEO Marcin Adamczyk said.
„Piotr Zielonka will manage our equity portfolio,” Adamczyk said. „He will be mainly in charge of long-short strategies.”
Zielonka has been tasked with transforming TFI PZU’s TMT fund into a more modern entity looking for firms capable of revolutionizing their sectors, he added.
Zielonka previously worked as a fund manager at brokerage Trigon DM. He was also head analyst at brokerage Ipopema Securities and analyst at brokerage DM Bank Handlowy.
TFI PZU will be hiring another analyst mid-May to help with picking liquid foreign companies, the CEO also revealed.
