Generali Real Estate acquires office building in Warsaw

Dodano: 2018-11-13

Generali Real Estate has completed the acquisition of Senatorska 18 from S+B Gruppe, a prime historical office building located in Warsaw’s central business district, also known as Jabłonowski Palace.

The operation follows Generali Real Estate’s recent acquisition of another asset located in the same area of the Polish capital, Plac Małachowskiego.

The former City Hall of Warsaw, Senatorska 18 was built in 1773, and then rebuilt in 1997 after being destroyed during World War II. It is located in one of the city’s most prestigious neighbourhoods, in front of the Grand Theatre and at a close distance from the Old Town. The building is currently occupied by mBank, one of the largest banks in Poland.

This operation is in line with Generali Real Estate’s strategy of investing in the main European cities, with a focus on prime office, high street retail and retail assets.
