The Personal Data Protection Office approved the inspection plan for 2020. Among the planned, sectoral inspections was the inspection of banks for copying identity documents.
The office decided to inspect this due to the increasingly frequent threats of violating personal data protection regulations, as well as due to the high public interest in these types of problems.
