Paweł Surówka PZU CEO has presented the insurance company development plan. The insurer wants to obtain PLN 300 bln of assets. PZU plans to develop itself especially in the banking sector.
Pawel Surówka said during the press conference that the group wants to take a leader position on the Polish banking sector. To reach this aim the company has to increase its assets to the level of PLN 300 bln. Currently the assets of the biggest bank in Poland are at the level of PLN 297 bln.
The PZU CEO did not refer to speculations about the Pekao and Alior Bank merger. The banks belong to the PZU capital group.
