On 23 July 2019 the Polish government passed a draft bill adapting public offering law to EU regulations.
The draft bill adopts Polish law to regulations effective in the EU, among others to the rules of publishing prospectuses related to securities issuance. The proposed solutions seek to increase the transparency of listed firms and the involvement of shareholders in company affairs.
The bill also assumes a strengthening of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. The board of KNF will be extended. A third vicepresident will be appointed who will take over the supervision over the insurance sector.
